Discover Nostalgic Bengali Flavors
I believe Bengali cuisine is all about simple, home-cooked dishes passed down through generations, with a dash of love and a sprinkle of traditions. And that’s what I’ll be exploring in this flavorful journey!

Maachh, Mishti, and Much More
There’s much more to Bengali cuisine than elaborate fish recipes and rich sweets. I’ve always had a soft corner for vegetarian food, and with so many veggies and spices easily available in a Bengali pantry, whipping up unique veg dishes is a breeze! But don’t worry, I won’t just stick to veggie delights.

Traditional favorites
Explore simple Bengali staples like veg and non-veg curries, lentil dishes, and rice, all prepared with love and a touch of my personal kitchen magic. Most recipes are easy to prepare, ideal for busy working people and especially helpful for those who’re just learning the ropes!
Special dishes
While simple recipes are my go-to, I do like to work with more complex ones from time to time. I mean, who wouldn’t like to dig into some daab chingri or bhetki paturi on a special occasion?
World cuisines
I also love experimenting with global flavors, blending them with traditional techniques to create unique, easy recipes that anyone can try at home, no matter their culinary skill level. So get ready to awaken the baker in you as well!
Why I cook
Cooking is my way of sharing love. It relaxes me and fills me up with childlike excitement at the same time. I’ve grown up watching my mother flawlessly whip up hearty traditional meals. My father, on the other hand, is known for his endless culinary experiments, treating the kitchen as his own little chemistry lab. As for me, I got the best of both worlds, true to my roots but always up for something new!
